Die Handschuhe ECO gehören zur kompletten Serie ECO: es gibt Handschuhe, Pulswärmer, Stirnband, Mütze, Schal, Loopschal und Schalmütze.
Die Handschuhe ECO sind ein besonders dekoratives Handschuhmodell, eher für Damen geeignet, mit Zopfmuster auf dem Handrücken und uni glatt gestrickt auf der Unterseite. Es handelt sich hierbei um eines der beliebtesten Modelle seit vielen Jahren!
Wie der Großteil der kompletten MILLWA-Produktion, wurden auch diese Alpaka-Handschuhe von den Strickerinnen im Hochland Perus in Heimarbeit in FairTrade gefertigt. Die Frauen, die keinen gelernten Beruf haben, können mit dieser Arbeit von zu Hause aus einen erheblichen Beitrag zum Familieneinkommen leisten.
Die Firma MILLWA produziert Accessoires, die zum großen Teil aus reiner Babyalpaka-Faser bestehen - so auch bei diesem Modell: gefertigt in 100% Babyalpaka - je nach Farbe sogar in ECO-Qualität (=ungefärbt, ungebleicht). Babyalpaka-Faser ist ganz besonders weich und angenehm auf der Haut zu tragen. Sie gibt unglaublich warm ohne irgendeinen Hitzestau zu verursachen.

These gloves ECO are part of a complete set ECO, which consists of gloves, fingerless mitons, headband, hat, scarf, loopscarf and scarfhat.
The gloves ECO are especially decorative, mostly for women with a beautiful cable pattern at the back and simply flat knitted below. It is one of the most popular alpaca glove modells since many years.
Like the main part of the complete MILLWA production, also these alpaca gloves are hand- and homemade by the MILLWA-knitters in the highlands of the peruvian Andes. These women do not have a learned occupation can contribute with its knitting significantly to the family income.
The company MILLWA produces knitted accessoires consisting in its majority of pure babyalpaca fibre - as well as this modell: it is made from 100% babyalpaca fibre - according to the colour also in ECO-quality (ECO = non-coloured, non-dyed). Babyalpaca fibre is especially soft and gentle to your skin. It is incredibly warm without producing a heat-build-up like so many other fibres.
